Re: My Article About Salvia in the New Issue of Scientific American
Fri, July 24, 2009 - 4:19 PMIt's a Shame that here in Charleston we don't have a decent study of Salvia's Medicinal or Shamanistic properties as we have a medical hub with a deep ancient library, and we have an esoteric religious studies dept. Maybe I could get a doctorate... -

Mon, July 27, 2009 - 2:11 PMMost all of the research is concentrated in The San Francisco Bay area, these days and nights. If you are really that passionate about Salvia Divinorum, I'd move to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Re: My Article About Salvia in the New Issue of Scientific American
Sun, August 2, 2009 - 4:24 PMFor a short feature, I thought it was well stated and level headed and favorably presented. I would have liked to see some mention of the path of regulation/ restriction, that some states have opted for, rather than outright prohibition. Also, why people try it, why most people don't like it, and why those who return to work with it do so. I think it is sad that all appeals must pander to the pharma-profit motive to simply allow the normal interchange of human consciousness development. Thanks for doing the article, David. -
