  I am hearing that Lowes ( the home improvement store ) has the pure shit for less.
  Any Ideas how much extract can be obtained from five kilos?

    try your local beauty supply . Look for 100 percent pure acetone ...they sell it in gallon sizes usualy and its cheap. I think stuff intended for people to use on the body and nails is held to higher purity standards then stuff in the harware store for cleaning and removing paint

      I would just use generic Everclear if I were you. Mohawk or Diesel is pretty cheap, and works great.

          update:looks like you can buy everclear online, and they will ship to alot of states. i guess google really is your friend
