making extract

after searching thru the web, looking for a reliable extraction method, I have noticed that many of them are out-dated so to speak. Many speak of turning the leaves into a powder before extraction, I think this is before they realized that the Salvinorums are on the surface of the leaf, therefore you dont need to powder them....anyway.

Im looking for a reliable recipe on how to make an extraction. I have seen some on you tube that say you just need to wash the leaves a few times with a certain acetone for a few minutes and then evaporate onto other dreied leaf. Is this a good method or will alot of of material be wasted.

Does anyone know of a GREAT method out there?

    Grind in coffee mill.
    Put in peanut butter jar.
Add pure grain alcohol or pure denatured alcohol 2/3 cup.
Let stand 1 day, swirling occasionally.
Slowly pour in flat glass baking dish, leaving solids in bottom of jar.
    Allow to thoroughly dry.
Add more alcohol to jar, let stand again 1 day.
Pour remainder of fluid into dish.
    Let dry again, thoroughly.
Scrape out waxy residue with flat blade.
    Say your prayers.

Oh man...not a good idea to ever use denatured alcohol.
That stuff will leave methyl-ketones in your extract.
That stuff is damaging, if not deadly.
Stick with ethyl alcohol....Everclear will do.
      Seriously....denatured BAD! Ethyl alcohol good.

Acetone is also good for extracting.
That's what they use in all of the brand-name extracts.
Acetone is safer than it sounds...over-ripe bananas are packed with acetone.
